About SmartwatchRadar
Last updated October 19, 2026
SmartwatchRadar is a smartwatch comparison site. Every watch and fitness band we cover gets the same spec sheet, so an Apple Watch, a Garmin Forerunner, a Fitbit band and a dive computer line up row by row, and you can see where two to five models really differ.
Why it exists
Watch makers describe the same thing in different ways. One brand quotes battery life in days, another in hours, a third only for one case size or with the always-on display switched off. Health sensors hide behind marketing names, and GPS claims rarely say which mode they mean. We read those sources and turn them into one format: battery life per mode, the sensors the watch actually has, and the same units for every model.
Where the specs come from
- The manufacturer first. Product and spec pages, user manuals, support articles and technical data sheets from the brand.
- Open Icecat for some identifiers and starting values, never as the final word when a maker says otherwise.
- Other sources only to fill gaps, such as versus.com spec facts. We never copy anyone’s scores, rankings or reviews.
Each value in our database records where it came from. When sources disagree, the manufacturer wins. When nobody publishes a spec, the field stays blank instead of holding a guess.
What we don’t do
- No paid placements. Brands can’t pay to be listed, featured or shown in a better light.
- No borrowed scores or review text from other sites.
- No product prices. They change by the hour, and a static page would be out of date. The “Check current price” button opens the store page, where the price is live.
How the site is funded
When you buy something on Amazon after following one of our links, we may earn a commission. It doesn’t change what you pay. Details are in our affiliate disclosure.
