How to use the Smartwatch Finder

Every smartwatch, sports watch and fitness band we track is here with the same spec sheet, so a slim band and a dive computer line up row by row.

Filters stack: each one narrows the list, and the number next to each option shows how many watches are left. Your choices stay in the page address, so you can bookmark or share a filtered list.

Not sure where to start? Try a category such as running watches, smartwatches for iPhone or watches with the longest battery life.

Frequently asked questions

Which filter should I set first?

Your phone. It rules out the most watches: Apple Watch needs an iPhone, and most Wear OS watches need Android. Then set type (smartwatch, sports watch or band) and battery life.

What does "connected GPS" mean?

The watch uses your phone's location to record a run or ride, so the phone has to come with you. Built-in GPS works with the phone left at home.

Are the battery figures comparable between brands?

Closer than the boxes are. We record each maker's smartwatch-mode figure in hours and list every other mode they publish, but each maker tests its own way, so treat small gaps as a tie.

How do I compare watches I found here?

Tick Compare on up to five watches, then open the comparison to see every spec in one table. You can also add watches by name with the comparison tool on the homepage.
